What we will do:

Discover authentic southern Italian traditions with a private Paestum and Buffalo Mozzarella tour. We will pick you up from your accommodation and drive through the countryside toward the Paestum region.

The first stop is a traditional buffalo mozzarella farm, where the famous Mozzarella di Bufala Campana is produced. During the visit you will learn about the production process and enjoy tastings of fresh mozzarella and other buffalo-milk specialties such as ricotta, cheeses, yogurt, and desserts. Lunch at the farm is also available if you wish.

The tour continues to the archaeological site of Paestum, originally founded by the Greeks as Poseidonia. Here you can admire some of the best preserved Doric temples in the world, including the temples dedicated to Athena, Hera, and Neptune. A licensed guide can be arranged for a deeper historical experience.
